  THE ROLE

PrivateFly is looking for a Charter Sales Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a full-time role and will require regular attendance at our Farnborough and Mayfair offices.

You will be the ‘mission control’ in our high-tech business. This varied and exciting role will often carry large amounts of responsibility. The core of the job will be facilitating private jet flights to international high-net-worth clients, both online and offline, and then working with our in-house teams to manage these charter flights and deliver a seamless experience.

As a Sales Manager, you will be expected to autonomously manage and develop your book of clients, maximising revenue whilst taking a long-term view of relationships. The role will require you to utilise the brands we have within Directional Aviation to help contribute to the wider group's success. You should embody the PrivateFly brand to both our clients and suppliers – we pride ourselves on the reputation we keep.

Responsibilities

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Driving enquiry levels and converting leads into sales
  • Proactive outbound activity to develop a strong and varied book of clients
  • Collaboration with revenue management teams to fill capacity on the family fleet
  • Be driven to hit a range of revenue, profitability and portfolio-based targets
  • Confident, swift and persuasive sales communication by phone and email with clients, suppliers and key partners
  • Nurturing existing customers – driving loyalty and referrals
  • Diligent use of CRM system and managing an organised sales process
  • A strong understanding of the charter industry and the ability to foster long-term relationships.
  • Completing, reviewing and sending pre-flight documentation
  • Build strong working relationships with key support teams in Client Services and Accounts.
  • Working with our Business Development team to acquire new accounts and/or partnerships
  • Take clear direction from leadership on projects and be adaptive to changes in strategy.
  • Working closely with Flexjet and PrivateFly Jet Card Sales Directors to maximize our structured product opportunities.
  • Airport visits to meet customers and oversee flight departures
  • Work a range of early, mid and late shits in addition to a weekend roster.

Qualifications

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

  • You will have a minimum 2 years of aviation experience, preferably in a charter environment.
  • You must have a background and passion for sales and customer service
  • You must be results-focused and thrive in a target-driven environment
  • You should feel confident working in a dynamic fast fast-paced atmosphere and calm under pressure
  • You will be an engaging individual with a can-do attitude who is comfortable working towards individual goals whilst contributing in a team environment
  • You will have a keen interest and passion for the aviation industry
